The application process is pretty straight forward. All non- application areas
are masked off.
Lines are taped if you choose for us to spray over the rails. Then the tailgate is
removed and set aside.
If your tailgate has an access panel it too will be removed and sprayed
separately. Other tailgates have bolts showing that secure the latch.
These will be removed ,along with tie downs. Permanently attached tie downs
are masked off. We want to provide you with the most professional
appearance possible.
The bed is scuffed, and all of the edges carefully sanded by hand.
Then a thorough cleaning involving the removal of dust with air pressure and a
solvent designed to soften the paint will make certain that the strongest bond
will be achieved.
It is now ready to receive the liner.
Your liner will be ready for light use the same evening that you pick it up, but
please allow two or three days, depending on temperature, for a full cure.
